George Rylander is a Master Stylist and Colorist with over 34 years of industry experience . The Hair Collective is located in Suite 1 at Salons by JC. Trained by the award winning hairdresser, Frank Molinari, George went on to further develop himself as an expert hair colorist. He takes pride in his ability to masterfully cut and color all types of hair textures. His work has been seen on television, film, and the runways of New York Fashion Week. Behind the chair, George’s warmth and friendly approach will immediately put you at ease. You will feel right at home.Through his decades of experience both as a stylist and educator, he has developed an ability to create meaningful connections with each and every client. He takes the time to consult and collaborate with you. He listens and seeks to understand your concerns about your hair. With your wishes in mind, he offers design solutions and services that bring out the best in your hair, and in you. As a Master Hair Stylist, George tailors his clients' looks to suit their individual hair textures, facial shapes, and lifestyles. His expert use of precision wet and dry cutting techniques enables him to produce modern and wearable looks that are edgy and fun while also practical and timeless. He specializes in fine and thinning hair. He diagnoses and cosmetically treats hair and scalp conditions, promoting the health and fullness of the hair. Product knowledge and education are key to George’s approach to healthy and beautiful locks. He loves teaching his clients how to style their own hair at home so they look like they walked out of the salon everyday. As a Master Colorist, George has an uncanny eye for color formulation. Some of his favorite looks include beautiful beachy blondes, honey-toned brondes, dimensional brunettes, and rich reds, with an occasional pink or purple for fun. As an Ordained Interfaith Minister for over 20 years, he relates to humanity as spiritually interconnected. It is his honor and privilege to support his community. He ministers many types of ceremonies and special occasions. He loves officiating weddings! Utilizing a “relationship mining” technique that he personally developed, he coaches and supports couples in creating extraordinary ceremonies that joyously launch their life long journey together. Also, as a second degree Reiki practitioner he is available to provide soothing and grounding energetic healing sessions upon request. George has over 25 years of experience as a coach in the personal development field.
